2026 ADeKo Awards Nomination Call

The ADeKo Awards are established to recognize and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Korean-German exchanges and relations in various fields. We aim to identify and widely acknowledge the unsung heroes who are dedicating themselves to the development of both Korea and Germany. We encourage you to nominate outstanding candidates who meet the following criteria.

1. Award Categories and Eligibility

• Categories: Economy, Public Sector, Culture, Science, etc.
• Eligibility and Number of Awardees: Up to 5 individuals who have made remarkable achievements in any of the categories, contributing to the development of Korea society.

2. Submission of Documents

• Filled out Nomination form (attached below), one photo of the candidate
• Both Koreans and Germans can be nominated, and the form can be filled out in either Korean or English.
• Please submit the file in both docx and PDF formats.
• Also, please include the candidate’s last name in the file name for easy identification.
• Please follow the length requirements for the submitted recommendation form to ensure a fair selection process for all candidates.  
• Please submit supporting documents for the nominee’s achievements upon request (selection will be revoked if any discrepancy is found).

3. Nomination Submission

• Period: October 27, 2025 (Monday) until November 27, 2025 (Friday) 6 PM
• Method: Email (info@adeko.or.kr)

4. Announcement and Awards Ceremony

• Winner Announcement: Begin of January 2026 (individual notification)
• Ceremony: Mid~ End of February, 2026 (during ADeKo New Year’s Night)
• Award Details: Award plaque and prize

5. Additional Information

• Nomination form templates can be downloaded below or requested from the ADeKo Office.
• Submitted documents will note be returned.
