2025 ADeKo Awards Nomination Call

The ADeKo Awards are established to recognize and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Korean-German exchanges and relations in various fields. We aim to identify and widely acknowledge the unsung heroes who are dedicating themselves to the development of both Korea and Germany. We encourage you to nominate outstanding candidates who meet the following criteria.

1. Award Categories and Eligibility

• Categories: Economy, Public Sector, Culture, Science, etc.
• Eligibility and Number of Awardees: Up to 5 individuals who have made remarkable achievements in any of the categories, contributing to the development of Korea society.

2. Submission of Documents

• Nomination form (attached below), one photo (both Koreans and Germans can be nominated, and the form can be filled out in either Korean or English)
• Please submit supporting documents for the nominee’s achievements upon request (selection will be revoked if any discrepancy is found).

3. Nomination Submission

• Period: October 16, 2024 (Monday) to November 30, 2024 (Saturday) 6 PM
• Method: Email (info@adeko.or.kr)

4. Announcement and Awards Ceremony

• Announcement: Mid of January 2025 (individual notification)
• Ceremony: February 21, 2025 (Friday) at 19:00, 2025 ADeKo New Year’s Night
• Award Details: Trophy and Prize

5. Additional Information

• Nomination form templates can be downloaded from the website or requested from the Secretariat.
• Submitted documents will note be returned.
